The exhibition relates to the culture and everyday life of people dwelling the defensive settlement, which was built on an island in the Biskupińskie Lake in the early Iron Age (about 2,700 years ago). The exposition displays photographs taken during the research conducted before the Second World War. One of them presents a view of the village from a balloon. Other interesting exhibits include a model of the settlement, a model presenting the construction of a log cabin, and a reconstructed interior of a hut with its furnishings.

The State Archaeological Museum presents the history and culture of the inhabitants of the Polish lands, from the Stone Age to the times of the first Polish rulers.
