Between 14 and 17 March Warsaw will take part in the most renowned real estate exhibition in Europe – MIPIM 2017. The City will present its investment attractiveness in Cannes for the nineteenth time.
The Capital City regularly participates in international investment
fairs, in which it is shown as a city of high development dynamics and
vast investment potential. The slogan accompanying this type of events
is traditionally “Grow with Warsaw”, meaning develop and expand with
Warsaw.
Every year the MIPIM attracts influential decision-makers
operating on the international real estate market. The exhibition space
covers an area of 19.4 thousand m2. This year, 23 thousand participants
from 90 countries, including 5.3 thousand investors, have confirmed
their attendance at the event. During the four days of the event, 2.6
thousand exhibitors will present their portfolios, having an opportunity
to attend over 100 conferences. Moreover, nearly 500 journalists have
been accredited for the event. The leitmotif of this year's edition is
“A New deal for Real Estate”, devoted to geopolitical, economic and
social challenges which the real estate sector is likely to face in the
years to come.
In addition to individual meetings of the City’s
representatives with representatives of potential investors, various
accompanying events have been planned. These include a meeting of city
mayors, “The Mayors Think Tank”, and a presentation of a report
addressed to future investors, entitled “Poland – Your Place to Invest”,
which has been developed at the initiative of the City of Warsaw, in
cooperation with eight other Polish cities, supported by real estate
agencies.
