Warsaw is located in the centre, the very heart of the continent, in close proximity to Eastern and Western Europe. It is also strategically situated, if you are thinking about traveling to the northern or the southern part of the Continent. Warsaw is one the cheapest capitals in Europe. What really stands out is its low cost of living and reasonably priced higher education. For example, one year of study ranges between 2,000 and 6,000 euros. Schools provide an exceptional level of education, which is comparable, if not superior, to that in other countries. For example, graduates from Warsaw are ranked among the best computer programmers in the world. Some have been honored with numerous awards.

Students are drawn by the dynamic growth and multitude of opportunities that a big city like Warsaw offers. The capital also creates demand for well-educated knowledgeable workers. Some individuals’ move to Warsaw is based on a sheer desire for adventure. An interesting country, an enchanting city and sincere people. Upon arrival some students are surprised to discover that Warsaw is part of a global cultural scene, while movie premieres are right on schedule with the rest of the world. And you can go to a pub or a restaurant and often find a beer for less than 2 euros :)

And what do international students complain about? Well, bureaucracy… It is difficult for them to understand that it is an inherited “treasure” of over 50 years of socialist governance. Even so, these aspects are also improving with time.
