Since September students at the Motor Vehicle Engineering and Secondary Schools Complex located at 1 Szczęśliwicka Street in Warsaw have attended high-standard practical classes in a new teaching hall with specialised training equipment.

Since 2012 the school with a 90-year tradition has had its seat in the Ochota District. The Ochota school is the oldest school of motor vehicle engineering in Poland, continuing the history and traditions of the State Technical School set up in 1925. The school complex is equipped with modern teaching aids, and has its own drivers' training centre and an extended sports infrastructure. The experienced teaching staff guarantees the adequate preparation for vocational examinations, while the cooperation with the Military University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology provides opportunities to attend lectures and open classes in laboratories and motor vehicle engineering workshops. The Motor Vehicle Engineering and Secondary Schools Complex is currently attended by 334 students, the vast majority of whom are boys, and only five students are girls.

The construction of a teaching hall serving the purpose of diagnosing and repairing cars means more practical classes, which is of utmost importance for a school providing vocational training in the field of motor vehicle engineering. The investment cost covered by the city almost reached PLN 6,000,000. The hall was constructed within 12 months.
