Kulisiewicz International Graphic Arts Triennial in Warsaw is a regular non-commercial artistic event and one of the most important shows of contemporary graphic arts in the world.
IMPRINT 2011 is organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and
Tadeusz Kulisiewicz Foundation. Its first edition was held in 2008. It
was titled 'Clashes between Civilizations'. 210 artists from 44
countries participated in the competition exhibition at the Palace of
Culture and Science in Warsaw.
'Metropolis', the subject of IMPRINT's second edition, is the idea of
the International Chapter. 1221 works by 358 artists from 40 countries
entered in the competition.
A solemn opening of the exhibition together with the presentation of
the awards of Kulisiewicz International Graphic Arts Triennial in
Warsaw will take place on October 15, 2011, at the Kubicki Arcades
(Royal Castle) in Warsaw. In the exposition, works created by means of
both traditional and modern graphic arts techniques will be displayed.
The second edition of the IMPRINT Triennial is held under the patronage
of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Mayor of Warsaw,
Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship as well as the Polish Presidency of
the European Council 2011.
